He’s just not that into you is the story lived by many single people all over the world. We all have been there, the game playing, the fantasy of finding that special someone and living happily ever after. The cast of he’s just not that into you has many familiar faces, Scarlett Johansson, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long, Ben Afleck, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Ginnifer Goodwin, Drew Berrymore and Kevin Connolly to name a few. Since the movie follows the story of at least six different single people and one married couple, I thought it would be best to describe the kinds of characters you will meet in this movie instead of a complete review.
To start off, you have Beth Bartlett (Aniston), Beth is one of three or four sisters who hasn’t gotten married just yet. Beth is in a relationship with Neil Jones (Affleck) for seven years and he doesn’t believe in marriage. Gigi Haim (Goodwin) is a single woman who always seems to find the wrong kind of guy. This is mainly because as she was growing up, she was always told that when men act like jerks it means they like you. Connor Barry (Connolly) is a single guy who wants to be in a relationship with Anna Taylor (Johansson). This is even though Anna is giving Connor the cold shoulder and does not see him as the relationship kind of man. Connor goes out on a date with Gigi, and ends up not liking her. One of Connor’s friends, Alex (Long) runs a bar which Gigi visits to find out information about Connor. (SPOILER ALERT) Gigi ends up falling for Alex…. Anna ends up falling for a married man named Ben Gunders (Cooper), Ben is married to Janine Gunders (Connelly). While all of these relationships are taking place, there is an overall common friend linking each relationship to one-another.
He’s just not that into you is a very entertaining movie. I though everyone in the movie held up their part, there wasn’t a time where one actor or actress out shined the others. It was also good to see some actors that I have not seen for a while like Connelly, Connolly, and Affleck. I also enjoyed watching Justin Long as he has come a long way in his acting career.
Overall I would recommend he’s just not that into you to everyone.
