What do you do when you’re born with a hunch in your back? In the land of Malaria, you become an Igor. Directed by award-winning animation verteran Tony Leondis (Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, Lilo & Stitch 2) and from Max Howard, producer involved in such films as The Little Mermaid, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Aladdin and The Lion King, comes Igor. This playful and irreverent comedy brings a new twist to the classic monster genre. Igor is the story of a made scientist’s hunchback lab assistant who dreams of becoming an evil scientist and winning first place at the annual Evil Science Fair. Starring Steve Buscemi (Charlotte’s Web), John Cleese (Shrek 2, Shrek 3) and John Cusack (High Fidelity, Grace is Gone), Igor is sure to re-invent the mad scientist genre for a new generation.

After ballooning costs force the studio to cancel the movie, the frustrated director refuses to stop shooting, leading his cast into the jungles of Southeast Asia, where they encounter real bad guys.

Elsa and Fred - Trailer

Elsa &Fred is a story about two people who, at the end of the road, discover that it’s never too late to love. or to dream. Elsa is 82 years-old and for the past 60 years she’s dreamt of a moment that Fellini had already envisaged: the scene of “La Dolce Vita” at the Fontana di Trevi. The same scene without Anita Ekberg in it but Elsa instead. Without Marcello Mastroiani but with that love that took so long to arrive. Alfredo is a bit younger than Elsa and was always a good man who did everything he was supposed to do. After losing his wife, he feels disturbed and confused and his daughter decides that it would be best if he moved into a smaller apartment where he’ll meet Elsa. From that moment on, everything changes. Elsa bursts into his life like a whirlwind, determined to teach him that the time he has left to live - be it more or less - is precious and that he should enjoy it as he pleases. Fred surrenders to Elsa’s frenzy, to her youth, to her boldness, to her beautiful madness. And this is how Alfredo (or Fred, as Elsa calls him), learns how to live.

The Wackness - Teaser 3

It’s the summer of 1994, and the streets of New York are pulsing with hip-hop and wafting with the sweet aroma of marijuana—but change is in the air. The newly-inaugurated mayor, Rudy Giuliani, is beginning to implement his anti-fun initiatives against “crimes” like noisy portable radios, graffiti and public drunkenness. Set against this backdrop, Luke Shapiro (Josh Peck) spends his last summer before college selling dope throughout New York City, trading it with his shrink (Ben Kingsley) for therapy, while crushing on his step daughter (Olivia Thirlby). Famke Janssen, Mary Kate Olsen,and Method Man round out the cast in this edgy, bittersweet, and funny coming of age story.

Mother of Tears - Trailer

An ancient urn chained to a coffin is unearthed by chance by workmen alongside Rome’s Viterbo Cemetery. Inside is an age-old tunic and artifacts that belong to Mater Lacrimarum (Moran Atias) - the Third Mother - the only survivor of the Three Mothers, three powerful witches who for aeons have spread death and destruction throughout the city. The Mater has been hiding in Rome for centuries.waiting for the moment when she will be awakened, triggering a chain of mysterious and terrible events. Sarah Mandy (Asia Argento), a young student of restoration, co-worker and love interest of Michael Pierce (Adam James), the curator of the Museum of Ancient Art of Rome, is involved in the escalating and increasingly frantic episodes of violence. Sarah tries to run away but she cannot: the Third Mother is looking for her and Sarah is not aware of the fact that her mother Elisa Mandy (Daria Nicolodi) was a powerful white witch brutally killed by Mater Suspiriorum, the witch from Fryeburg. Helped by the spirit of her mother, a priest (Udo Kier), by an eminent esoterism academic, Guglielmo De Witt (Philippe Leroy), and by the Chief Constable Marchi (Cristian Solimeno), Sarah realizes that she has no way out and that she must face the impending threat.
